art review issue 12

this month's art review comes in two different covers (what's this two different shit lately??? let me think: "dazed&confused", "i-d", well "art review" and the german "vanity fair" even has EIGHT different covers if its current issue - well g8 I suppose... anyway). Since we don't have to buy art review we shouldn't care about how many different covers they have. Feel free to download this month's issue for free here.

This month we focus on a packed summer of art, with Canada’s Venice Biennale representative David Altmejd; artworld remarks on Tracey Emin; and an interview with Venice chief Robert Storr. Plus: JEFF KOONS: "I believe in the exercise of power" ROBERT GOBER: "It never starts from meaning" SOPHIE CALLE: "I received an email telling me it was over" RICHARD SERRA: "The work offers something that is not mediated" And check out a video from Susan Norrie previewing her work in Venice.
