NO TIME AT ALL
Dear friends. I got to say goodbye at least until next wednesday or so. I have less than no time. So please go and do some shopping while I am away (meating some friends for sushi and travelling to Hamburg). I truly suggest Welcome Hunters La. I would shop there if I wouldn't have spent all my money in NYC. My personal suggestions:
Daniel Palillo = FUN
Marjan Pejoski = ♥
Miroike = no pair left in my size :(
random nice stuff
I've just seen they put on some new dresses!!! MORE MORE MORE and, btw, it's my birthday pretty soon... please email me if you are not sure which size I am. I will be most delighted to help you out with that!

505
via anna frost
I´m going back to 505,
If it's a 7 hour flight or a 45 minute drive,
In my imagination you´re waiting lying on your side,
With your hands between your thighs...
SHORTS
There's not much going on with me this week. Well actually - this week means today till friday. From saturday on I will be in Hamburg until tuesday to be here and working for my new job (more about that later, maybe...).
Now I am totally jetlagged sitting on my bed in berlin trying not to fall asleep. New York was heaven and I would have loved to stay there. But... work is already calling!
Plan for the rest if the year: Earn money and move to New York (dream on, baby!).

WHAT HAPPENS...
at the other side of the world? Is it true that American women are obsessed with European men? And that European women don't like Americans?

THE HOUSE OF VIKTOR & ROLF
credit: Christopher Moore
Believe it or not, I never had a great thing for dolls. Well of course I had my barbie's and barbie houses, cars, horses, whatever, but deep inside I fell for Lego - the boyish side inside of me. Nevertheless I do like what Viktor & Rolf are doing lately: Designing Victorian-style dolls dressed in Viktor & Rolf designs and doll's houses. "The house of Viktor & Rolf" will be displayed at London's Barbican art gallery from tomorrow on until September 21st.

"The exhibition is dominated by a gigantic doll house, a graceful structure with Palladian proportions where miniature versions of 15 years of fashion fill the series of rooms on three levels [...] 'The concept is a fashion house that contains their whole world - and of those great fashion moments, like the Russian dolls and the 'Atomic Bomb',' says Jane Alison, the Barbican's senior curator." source

AND: Viktor & Rolf are T Magazine's guest bloggers right now. More about that here

While some of you might be here I will be here, mostly for work purposes. BUT besides work stuff I will be meeting her and some other New York based bloggers and will take the time to see this, this and this and maybe this. And might have the chance to meet them.
For now I will keep on beeing totally p*#?$§ off that my Topshop order hasn't arrived yet and that I will be leaving tomorrow morning without the two pairs of shoes I've ordered especially for NYC.
BUT - most certainly I will see these guys Thursday night (which makes the shoe issue a tiny little bit more bearable).

THERE'S NOTHING TO RELY ON...
When beeing alone at home used to mean watching any crap on TV it today means... The only (?) bad thing about LPs is that they sometimes just end, there is no repeat. Otherwise I would simply lie here today listen to the Futureheads (esp. in the Digitalism Remix Version) over and over again

KATE MARSHALL
It's nice to see people you personally know been featured on style.com. Kate ist the friend of a friend and a London based artist drawing provocating women in the "loose and limber style of fashion illustrations [...] inspired by glossy editorials. Marshall's work is intended to offer a 'smutty, seaside postcard humour's take on feminism, femininity, and the sexualized female image in popular culture.'" source
Right now her work is shown at the Empire Gallery in London. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the city...
