St. Georgen is a little town somewhere in the middle of nowhere (Blackforest in the south of Germany). I got there by train and it took hours but the countryside was quite impressive! The Graesslin family got wealthy by manufacturing clockdevices. In the 80s the four children Bärbel, Thomas, Sabine and Carola started to continue the art collection their parents had started, but with a much more contemporary approach. They're all somehow connected to the artworld. Bärbel Grässlin runs a
gallery in Frankfurt. Sabine Grässlin is the owner of the restaurant
Kippys, named after Martin Kippenberger who used to live in St. Georgen for
quite some time. Carola Grässlin is the director of the
Kunsthalle Baden-Baden.
Although they're quite international, the collection never left St. Georgen as a whole. They've built an exhibition hall and use vacant shops to exhibit their treasures. Please have a closer look at their

Thomas Grässlin (who wears suspenders!) and his very Pradaesque (bag, boots, coat and scarf (miumiu)) wive guided us through St. Georgen which was very very interessting although it rained all the time (I wore my Hunters!).

I scrolled through stockholm streetsyle - which I do quite often actually - and noticed this woman more than once. I could only find these two pictures, but she's in all the fashionable swedish events and always looks fabulous! Maybe I should try and wear some glasses?
Via Diane Pernet I discoverd aftershock magazine today. Very simple website - which I love - and profound content. Very well done. I'm looking forward to number two! Esp. the second article called Revolt into Style: Images of West German "Terrorism" from 1968 to 1977 is very up-to-date, since the discussion about releasing the "terrorists" from prison after more than 20 years is going on in Germany these days.
I've bought this H&M dress last friday. My brother - whom I met in Frankfurt - frowned, my father - whom I met on saturday - asked me if I was pregnant and didn't tell him.
Actually I had Gucci Westman's styling on NYC fashion week backstage (can't remember which show it was, do you?) in mind when I bought the dress. I love to wear it and already wore it twice and even my boyfriend likes it, can you imagine!? Today I wore the dress with black Hunter rubber boots since it's raining non stop for about a week now (as much as I love my wellies, I'm longing for my flats or suede boots...)! Besides the rubber boots I kept it simple, as usual. Black tights, a black blouse (buttoned up) and a long black cardigan. The coat is by stefanel.
