Fashionweek enters the internet! Last year we had Hussein Chalayan in Paris showing his newest collection on screen in a Paris based art gallery and at the same time on the internet for us left behind. Then there is modabot's internetfashionweek project, not to mention the thousands of bloggers who try to brodcast from this world's fashion weeks in realtime. The world is turning faster every minute and the possibilities to react to that fact constantly increase. Although I consider myself as an internet junky there do exist things that are even new to me. One example is the “Physical Hyperlinking”- or “Hardlinking” technology. I heard of that but somehow didn't pay much attention to it, until I received an invitation to Bernadette Penkov's new collection presentation next wednesday. You may have heard of the QR Code? As far as I understand Penkov is trying to step into virtuality next week. In coopertation with pixelpark the AW 08/09 collection will be introduced via QR Codes delivering digital information to portables:
