BERLIN FASHION WEEK 05 | q.e.d. WINS KARSTADT NEW GENERATION AWARD

This collection really got me thinking about starting a blog about men's wear. WOW I was SO impressed. The three ladies of the Berlin based label q.e.d. presented a black/white only collection. Minimalistic with fantastic details. Unfortunately only press photos. Will definitely do a larger post on q.e.d. when I'm back home!

Diese Kollektion hat mich ernsthaft dazu gebracht darüber nachzudenken, ein Blog zum Thema Herrenbekleidung zu starten. WOW ich war SO beeindruckt. Die drei Mädels vom Berliner Label q.e.d. haben gestern im Rahmen der Karstadt New Generation Awards eine rein schwarz/weiße Kollektion präsentiert. Minimalistisch mich aufregenden Details. Leider wieder nur Pressefotos. Mehr zu q.e.d. wird es geben, wenn ich nächste Woche wieder zu Hause bin!

BERLIN FASHION WEEK 04 | BECK'S FASHION EXPERIENCE

The 6th Beck's Fashion Experience took part yesterday. More information here. "Disappointing" wouldn't be the right term to describe it. For me it was something in between "nice", "hm" and "not bad at all" - I simply wasn't that excited... Well the setting was quite nice and it of course was a great possibility for the seven young designers to show their work in a professional surrounding. I at least was VERY happy to see a familiar face on the catwalk - Debbie.

Gestern fand im Kesselhaus der Kulturbrauerei die sechste Beck's Fashion Experience statt. "Enttäuschend" wäre nicht der rechte Ausdruck, eher etwas zwischen "nett", "hm" und "gar nicht so übel" - im großen und ganzen war ich einfach nich wirklich von den Socken... Nunja, das Ambiente war schön und natürlich war es eine fantastische Gelegenheit für die jungen Designer, ihr Entwürfe vor professionellem Publikum zu präsentieren. Letztlich war ich auch sehr erfreut, ein bekanntes Gesicht auf dem Laufsteg zu entdecken - Debbie.

The Berlin based design team Anntian I liked the most. Unfortunately the press area of Beck's only had a few pictures online today so I'm not able to show you all the pieces. Light materials, grey and white. Leggins for the girls and oversized shirts. All in all very Berlin style and not very autumn/winter at all.

Das in Berlin ansässige Label Anntian hat mir am besten gefallen. Leider gibt der Pressebereich bei Beck's heute noch nicht mehr Bilder her, so dass ich hier einfach nicht mehr posten kann. Leichte Stoffe, viel grau und weiß, Farbverläufe. Leggins für die Damen und Oversized Shirts. Im Großen und Ganzen VERY Berlin style und irgendwie nicht so ganz wintertauglich. Aber gut!
