bfw 01 ::: stil in berlin at work

I'm back from berlin ;-) It was fantastic but also very ex- hausting! I've seen a lot of things, met a lot of people and even brought work back home (I'll write an articel on bang! (the ideal art show) for modabot...).

I have to admit that the img shows really weren't the most interessting part of berlin fashion week. Much more interessting were the little fashion shows by lesser known designers and the fashion fairs ideal and premium. Unfortunatly I missed a lot of interessting things, but well, simply too many things and simply not enough time.

Mary and I attended the Vivienne Westwood Anglomania show (Vivienne didn't!) and took some pictures and made a little video. I'll upload it on youtube as soon as I wake up in a few hours. The 6 hours car ride back home was kind of stressfull... And I love Sandra Backlund ♥ (who actually doesn't?).

Do you recognise the "model"? Well she's been photographed quite a lot. here and here. Well I guess it's not easy for streetstyle photographers to attend the same events!?

berlin fashion week end

This is my last post before I leave for berlin.
You probably are interessted in my schedule so far. Arriving in berlin today at 1.30 pm. Meeting Mary , heading for the c.neeon fashion show, afterwards probably the von wedel - tiedeken preview. Definitely the Vivienne Westwood show at the Brandeburg Gate at 10pm. In between Premium and/or Ideal Showroom. On saturday temporary showroom and/or projekt GALERIE Showrooms and in the evening the Ideal fashion show and afterwards the ideal and iqons* party. There'll definitely be some events besides that... I'll be back on sunday so expect some interessting posts from monday on ;-)

no. 1 tour de france

well probably i should reveal some secrets of my life peu a peu - since i somehow can't recall 6 interessting things of my life at once (speaking of this tagging thing going around in the blogosphere). I've already did it and now I feel like doing it again:

I love racebiking! I love watching it and I love doing it. I don't watch any other sports on tv, but I do watch bike races like le tour the france. This is quite unfashionable huh? Please don't ask me what I think about all this doping fuss going around...

Well I call a really nice and stylish 80s racing colnago bike my own and well I really ride it, as you can see (please don't mind my funny face expression I just returned from a quite hard 500m difference in altitude mountain stage and yes, I hate the helmet and the glasses - but that's what you are supposed to wear on a racing bike. At least nobody recognises me ;-).

a pink shopping bag...

...goes around the world. Today's station: San Francisco, USA. Jennine received her susan bijl bag today. You know these neon coloured 80s inspired shopping bags from the Netherlands that are much cooler than the no plastic bag bags, the bags I've written about earlier?
I'm really looking forward to carrying mine around berlin for my berlin fashion week-end.

for the lack of posting the last two days. I have my oral exams tomorrow and just returned from kate who was willing to listen to me for the whole evening. THANK YOU I LOVE YOU!!!!
So the last things I'll do is reading some stuff I already read a couple of weeks ago and tomorrow morning I'll look over some gothic architecture termini...

Well and you guys enjoy last years Ideal Fashion show (which I'll hopefully attend on saturday...). Sandra Backlund will show her stuff there. I'm really excited! Did I already mention that I'm going to see the Vivienne Westwood show on friday?

mr f&art

probably the_kitten inspired me to introduce the style of mr. f&art when she introduced her boyfriend's style. Probably I simply liked what my bf wore yesterday. Probably it's common these days for female fashion bloggers to introduce their boyfriend's styles?

My boyfriend and I as couple definitely aren't as stylish as - for example - Kate and Pete used to be. And we do never exchange clothes or dress up together like agathe and her fiancé do. Well anyway. I like my boyfriend's style most of the time - a combination of sporty and preppy - kind of layed back. He refuses to wear shorts and open toed shoes like flip flops and stuff and sticks to wider legged pants (jeans or chino) mostly combined with stylish nike sneakers and shirts (well rarely simple t-shirts). Guess we both are more the sporty than the glamorous team... (for nearly five years now, by the way!)

what to wear at berlin fashion week?

Berlin Fashion Week starts in a couple of days and I'm starting to plan my outfits.

Today I stumbled upon a post susie did in her blog about the pvc leggins Kate Moss wore in Glastonbury. The pants she writes about are sold at browns and far too expensive not only in my opinion! Anyway.

But the pictures are a nice inspiration on how to combine the shiny leggins without looking too "sexy". Guess I'll have to purchase a pair on ebay asap!
