ebay store

I shop at ebay regularily. And I have some ebay shops I really love. One of them is The Little Fashion Treasury. I haven't bought there anything yet, because the stuff they are selling is still a little overpriced for my freelance, student, creative, curator account. But anyway. I'm happy to scroll through the offered stuff, love to start counting my money and don't love so much the feeling of disappointment when I realize it simply isn't enough ;-)
Todays finds are (too small anyway!) Balenciaga killer heels. Missoni boots and Lanvin ballet flats (guess I'll never own a pair of these because I simply don't understand why something that small made off some leather costs that much...).

There are certain similarities, don't you think? Well they prob. are intended and there are many more to find in John Galliano's haute couture collection.
I just discovered Diane Pernet, Inguna Butane who looks like Sophia Lauren and John himself neatly dressed as Torrero reminded me of a Manet painting showing Victorine Meurent dressed as Torrero.
The spain-theme is quite obvious, isn't it?

Well Hedi was there - as Hedi-like as possible - and seemed to cause some kind of excitement. Good for the gallerists, but not so good for the art I guess...

look of the day

it's f***ing raining outside. And it's been raining for two weeks now, can you believe it? And the weather forecast says it's not goint to get better. HELLOOO? It's july and it's cold and wet outside!!! It's not easy to look glamorous in that kind of weather. I'm starting to get sick of my hunter wellies, although I bought a nice rain coat yesterday...

am-lul looks fantastic in her festival styling (why does it ALWAY rain at festivals?). That's the look I'm going to achieve today. Rubber boots, overknee socks, shorts (or a short dress) and a nice rain coat... Or porbably I'll just stay in bed? Sometimes I hate having a dog (but hey really just sometimes!).

Curious how our famous friends cope the rain? I just found a picture gallery on vip.de. Glastonbury pictures are perfect for inspiration these rainy days ;-)

Did I ever mention that I'm addicted to sellotape? I don't collect anything, but if I would it would be tape. Thank's to Queen Marie for the hint.

how to walk in high heels

Last week jennine told us how she learnd to walk in high heels.
You probably know that I try to avoid wearing heels all the time (I'm 5ft11) although I love heels, own heels and would love to be able to walk in them porperly.
Actually I'm wearing a pair right now (8 cm) and my boyfriend thinks I look pretty normal walking in them (I'm simply to afraid to wear them outside. Wearing them I'm taller than my boyfriend and taller than everyone else around me...). Guess I'll simply have to practice, practice, practice...
